I am so tired. I could fall asleep in a millisecond if I was given a horizontal surface, but instead I am determined to read and study. I have a quiz over the reading tomorrow in my 12:30 class. I can't let sleep outweigh a quiz grade tonight. Not again. Last time the scale tipped in REMs favor like a brick to a downy soft, really good for stuffing pillows with feather...I am blinking slower. Gravity is increasing.
Determination.
I flip open my planner. An ink battle affronts me. The ink is attempting to blot out each page, leaving no white space untouched. The ink makes a dirty move of stacking event upon event, overlapping, double scheduling. Who, what, where, when. The poor free white space is loosing miserably. With its defeat, my measly scraps of unstructured time goes with it. I turn the page to 9/17, a day 49 minutes from passing. Make a wish. I fight my blury vision and the flooding ink to distinguish my assignment. 258-266

"It is primarily a hinge joint." Highlight.
"Blah. Blah. Blah." Attempt to pay attention. "Blah. Blah." Refocus. "Blah." Did I already read that sentence? Grr..FOCUS.
"The three vasti muscles of the quadriceps originate on the proximal femur and insert along with rectus femoris on the superior pole of the patella." WTF? Good Night.
